Goa Sees Lowest Amount of Covid Cases Since June 2020

The beautiful State of Goa has witnessed its lowest rate of new Covid-19 cases since June 2020. Only 29 new cases have been recorded. The active cases have reduced to 464 which is the lowest from the past eight months. For four consecutive days, the cases stayed below the 500 mark. The positivity rate was 2.8% among the 1,053 samples that were tested. Twenty-three people were taken to the hospital while seventeen decided to go for home isolation. At the moment Margao, Porvorim, Chimbel and Panaji health centres have 35, 34, 30, 26 active cases, respectively. Many other health centres have less than 10 active cases. No deaths were reported.
