Mumbai’s Baro Market Pop-up Is Happening In Claro, Assagoan, Goa

Baro Market which is an online store in Mumbai is all set to bring its charm to Goa. Srila Chatterjee of Baro Market is setting up a pop-up in Claro, Goa from the 26th of March till the 1st of April. The timings for the pop -up are 11:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 11:00 am to 8:00 pm from Friday to Sunday. With the week filled with celebrations because of Holi and Easter, Sunday Baro Market brings the beauty of other states to Goa. The Pop-up will speak volumes of the #VocalforLocal Artisans around the country that make handmade and sustainable products. Each product is locally sourced and is in small batches.

The market will show a wide range of products from Home Decor, Fashion, Stationery, Edibles and much more. The few brands that are participating are  Kaisori from Bangalore  present stories of India through a wide range of handcrafted products made by #vocalforlocal endeavours from different parts of India, Divya Mohta is going to display her home accessories collection from Morocco, PROJECT 1000  from Bombay which is a non-profit social enterprise engaged in manufacture of home and lifestyle products made by rural women from re-used cotton, handmade products from “Ek Tara Creates” is a social enterprise and a sustainable platform for women from urban slum communities  and much more. They also have a collection of art pieces by several Indian folk artists such as Shola art by Ashish Malakar,Terra Cotta art by Jamnalal Kumhar and Dolon Kundu and several other artists


Baro market has a selection of finely curated apparel from home grown brands. The collections are unique and exquisite as they are handcrafted in small batches. Brands such as 145 East has a collection of gamcha fashion, a collection of beautiful summer wear by Bhomra Design and menswear from Kos and Indiegharana. To complement the apparel, an eclectic range of accessories including jewellery, belts and brooches is available too. The Pop- up will have hand made soaps from Indian Alchemy, handmade stationery, edibles from Shillar house and vintage collection from The Blue Trunk.
