August 6, 2017: Nearly 100 women footballers from various parts of the country will be congregating at the Duler stadium in Mapusa, with an aim to motivate the women folk to take up sports as a career. 8 football teams, including a team from Goa will be taking part in the tournament at Mapusa and all teams will be trained by international coaches. The programme is being organised by Discover Football, a NGO based in Germany, Tibet Women's Football (India) and Foot and Ball (India).
