A well in Goa had a LEOPARD in it!

It’s not every day that you look into a well and see a large leopard! In Kudne, Goa, forest officials had to rush to rescue a leopard that had fallen into an open well by mistake.

The big cat landed in this situation when it decided to attack a calf that was in a cowshed nearby. A cow hastily came to rescue the calf and that’s when the leopard fell into the well. According to locals, the carnivorous animal was spotted multiple times during the last few months where it was most likely eating stray dogs to survive.

It was struggling for its life as it spent the whole night trying to climb back up and almost drowned. Villagers contacted the forest officials after spotting it. After being rescued, the magnificent animal was shifted to Bondla in a cage.
