Baga Beach

Baga Beach is located north of Calangute Beach. The beach is long and narrow and connects to the famous Baga Creek, or better known as Baga River. Baga was one of the first beaches to become popular in Goa, and is today filled with shacks and restaurants; playing host to the famous Tito’s Lane – the most happening place for Goa’s bar and club scenes. It is also well known for its water sports and dolphin cruises.

Things to do: Pack in lots of action at the many trendy bars and night clubs around the beach – Visit the Tito’s lane for its many options or Cavala a hot favourite for the young and old. It is also home to the famous Mackies Saturday Night Market. Water sports are a huge attraction. You can go para sailing for around Rs 1500/-, wake boarding for Rs 900/-, windsurfing for Rs 600/-, kite surfing for Rs 2500/-, or take a ride on a jet ski for Rs 600/-. Dolphin spotting trips are on offer for around Rs 500/- per person, and island trips for Rs 2000/-

Location: Baga Beach is located in North Goa, 9 kilometers (6 miles) from Mapusa and 16 kilometers (10 miles) from Panaji, the state capital.
