Goa, with a smashing nightlife scene, doesn’t fail to entertain the tourists and the locals but let’s face it. Going to a club and getting smashed unless there’s a kickass live act doesn’t really call for entertainment now, does it? Even if it did, it Does n’t really thrill you or enlighten you but just puts you in a temporary state of joy which might lead to a bad hangover the next day. Entertainment needs to be refined and thought provoking which is why we have listed some of the best entertainment avenues in Goa.
1. Deltin Royale
Deltin Royale perches on the Mandovi River like a jewel and the shimmers of its spectacle can be witnessed from far and wide. Being one of the most premium casinos in the state, this big boat is mostly frequented by high rollers when it comes to gaming. But poker, blackjack, slot machines, and roulette are not all there is to this magnificent abode. Deltin Royale also specializes in state of the art entertainment acts and is always striving to take their entertainment acts to the next level with every event. Be it their standup comedy initiative called LOL Mondays or their most recent independence weekend celebration with Bollywood’s very own baby doll, Kanika Kapoor; Deltin Royale stands tall at providing luxury entertainment experiences.
2. Night Market
If you’re here on a vacation for just a few days, one thing you should most definitely catch is one of the night markets that dazzle the evenings all throughout north Goa. Most popular one is the Saturday Night Market in Verla, Arpora displaying various stages with spellbinding live acts, photo booths, a massive food court with cuisines from all around the world and India, and of course, an endless flea market to go bollocks while shopping. Apart from this major treat, there is also Mackies Saturday Night Bazaar in Arpora which is relatively less crowded but has the same concept. Similarly the Anjuna Flea Market, Baga Bazaar, and the recently launched Vagator Night Market are not to be missed.

I don’t know about you but I love watching movies of all kinds so I couldn’t miss out on the fact that Goa has a lot of venues that screen really awesome movies too. Be it the multiplex experience at Inox in the quarters of the Entertainment Society of Goa or a documentary screening at Literati in Calangute or Sunapranta in Altinho, Panjim; movies can really Brighten up your mood. 4. Omaggio – TiTo’s white house
Situated in Arpora is a modern dance and performance art company which is quite unique as it is probably the closest hing to the world-famous Cirque du Soleil in India. They practice and perform a mix of musical theatre and cirque at the same time. Run by Tino Sanchez and Peeya Raj Chowdhry, Omaggio is also a performance art training school for talented individuals. With their training centre present at Tito’s White House, they keep conducting performances throughout Goa at various venues so stay tuned for their next gig.

Entertainment could mean a lot of things. It could be a music concert, a movie, a dance performance, or even an amusement park ride but here’s another dimension to it.
