Bus routes in Goa to be nationalized

The main bus routes in Goa will be nationalised, according to chief minister Pramod Sawant. As electric buses are increasing in the State, he feels that the nationalization of these routes is necessary.

A plan will be made so that buses which regularly travel on these routes can offer a good experience for passengers. The staff of the Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTC) and the directorate of transport have to come up with ways to make the travelling services better in Goa while also keeping the methods profitable.

KTC is also looking at making private buses belong to their corporation. This joint venture could lead to better services for those in the State.
