Carpe Diem Art Cafe

Located in a 275+ year old ancestral house is the Carpe Diem Art Café. It is an alfresco space surrounded by lush greenery. The cafe is a part of the art gallery and learning centre. Those visiting the cafe can spend time viewing the artworks in the gallery or participate in a pottery class conducted weekly!

This laid back cafe serves juices, shakes, sandwiches, wraps, waffles, burgers, pastries and more. Coffee, milkshakes, fresh juices, coolers, sandwiches, wraps, sweet/savoury waffles, lights lunches are some of the items available as well.

There is also a library bookshelf, board games, art to view and purchase throughout the centre, plug points for charging, workshops to participate in, local handicrafts to purchase, pottery classes twice a week at the centre, and great music all day.

They have open-air (covered) backyard garden restaurant-style seating. There are 10 tables to help maintain social distancing. Carpe Diem Café has an open kitchen style with transparent and hygienic kitchen conditions.

For safety, there are masked cooks and servers, temperature checks for guests at arrival, sanitizers at entry points, 50% seating capacity, and sanitization of every table once guests have left.
