This MOG Sundays, Museum of Goa invites you to unravel an art form rooted deep in Goa’s culture and heritage. Join us for the ‘Crochet: Knots of Love’  talk by Joana Monteiro on Sunday, 21st August 2022 from 11:30 AM onwards.

Joana Monteiro specializes in Textiles and Clothing through Goa College of Home and Science. She taught commercial garment designing and making to Higher Secondary students.

‘My mother was instrumental in creating a love for needlework’. Joana will be sharing with us the versatility of crochet and how the craft has traveled across history and generations.
