Candlelight vigil for Ukraine

A candlelight vigil to show support for the people of Ukraine will be held on March 11, from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in front of St Sebastian Chapel, Fontainhas.
It is ‘Prayer for the Ukrainians’ is being organised by Fr Roque da Costa along with his parishioners. The vigil will start with the unfurling of the peace flag. Each participant will get one.
There will also be a live bank and a documentary on Ukraine will be portrayed.
There will also be a gospel reading followed by reflection and prayer conducted by executive secretary of council for social justice and peace, Fr Savio Fernandes.
A common prayer for peace in Ukraine and blessing of the Blessed Sacrament will also be held.
The event is open to all.
