The Association of Friends of Astronomy (AFA) Goa is organising a beginner workshop on astronomy as a hobby for children below 16 years titled ‘Five steps into the universe’. The workshop will be held at the Public Astronomical Observatory, Junta House, Panaji on January 28 at 7 p.m. The workshop will cover topics such as basic activities in sky observation, use of telescopes, tips on websites, apps and practical demonstrations.
