This Thursday, 16th March at 6.30 pm, the classic Fiddler on the Roof (1971) will be screened as a tribute to the actor Topol, who passed away a few days ago.

An all-time classic, Fiddler on the Roof is based on a musical play of the same name. The film was nominated for 8 Oscars and won 3, including Best Music and Song for John Williams. The film has Tevye, played by Topol, as the main protagonist who is a poor milkman. He is faced with the challenge of marrying off his five daughters while the tension is brewing in 20th-century imperial Russia.
