Famous musician of Goa walks for 4 km against drug abuse

The famous musician of Goa, Glen Perry, walked for 4 km to make a statement against drug abuse. He and his group walked from Colva to Benaulim. They started at 7:30 in the morning.

Perry is very passionate about this topic. He has organized events to get political leaders, community leaders, and parents to fight drug abuse since he was 21 years old.

The musician says that this drug problem has crept into Goa and badly affects youth. He is saddened by the fact that drugs seem to be ‘cool’ among the youth and those with so much potential lose their minds because of the addiction. Perry organized this walkathon in Goa to discourage youngsters from ruining their bodies and minds with drugs and other harmful substances.
