Goa’s Carnival Will Be Showcased At Different Airports

Goa has something about it that has made it famous nationally and internationally. One of the most popular events of Goa is the Carnival. Therefore, IndiGo airlines has decided to showcase the Carnival spirit at 5 destinations. These are the Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Goa airports.

William Boulter, IndiGO’s chief commercial officer revealed that they will be serving paneer and chicken xacutti sandwiches from February 12th till February 17th as one of their meal options during flights between Goa and Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Promoting the Carnival comes under the ‘India by IndiGo’ campaign. They had even highlighted aspects of Diwali and Christmas during November and December. “Celebrations during the Goa Carnival will include local Goan dance at the airport with staff dressed in traditional clothing. Boarding announcements will be made in Konkani and English. Temporary hand paint activity for passengers, distribution of masks for children and a photo booth for pictures in traditional clothes and masks have been organised at the airports,” IndiGo stated.
