Government To Take Care Of Wild Animal Threats

Many farmers in Goa express their worry about their crops, which are under threat of being destroyed due to the presence of wild animals. These individuals mostly grow arecanuts, bananas, and coconuts.

On Wednesday, Chandrakant Kavlekar – Agriculture Minister, stated that the government will commence their efforts to prevent damage to crops caused by wild animals. Marcaim MLA Ramkrishna ‘Sudin’ Dhavalikar presented a paper which portrayed how other states in India have dealt with this particular problem. He also insisted that the support price for farmers should be increased.
