Helicopter rides have started in Aguada, Goa!

Fly high in a helicopter in Aguada, Goa! There are 3 types of rides available. The first one offers great connectivity from the Goa airport to North and South Goa. They are also offering charter services from Maharashtra and within Goa as well. Otherwise, you can fly just for fun for 10 minutes and get breath-taking aerial views of the state’s coastline.

Five years ago, the rides were moved to South Goa as the Calangute residents were complaining. However, the helicopter rides didn’t work out as it was difficult logistically because people who bought tickets had to be transported to the South.

The helicopter service will help boost tourism in the state, according to Chief minister Pramod Sawant. It’ll help tourists explore the hinterland areas. The company behind the helicopter service, Blade India, has identified landing spots in Surla and Sanquelim (North Goa). It can also be used for medical emergencies too.
