Highland Heritage is an exclusive home-stay experience embellished with a distinct Goan–Portuguese experience. Conceived with care and planned systematically, Highland Heritage is a tribute to fine living in sync with nature. Surrounded by lush greenery, forests and vast landscaped gardens, its environs emit a feeling of serenity and bliss. Natural stone pathways wind through the garden offering cosy nooks and shaded corners betwixt the pulchritude of nature.

Highland Heritage is Goa’s newest homestay option, launched on the 15th of August amidst a celebration of Indian culture including art, music, heritage, fashion and cuisine. The launch witnessed the creation of an Art Street that welcomed visitors with its vibrant display of contemporary art works. A traditional Goan brass band welcomed guests and visitors as the event witnessed 13 of Goa’s finest artist participate in the celebration of art.

Nestled in a quiet and idyllic part of Porvorim, its two villas sprawl over two and a half acres of lush green forest offering guests an Indo Portuguese experience, recreating the regal environs of Goa in the 18th century. Carved antique furniture and elegant chandeliers add to the charm with interiors that draw inspiration from an era gone by. The villas offer a quiet sanctuary as it seamlessly blends the view of the natural forest cover with Indo Portuguese hospitality

With its 4 well appointed rooms, a comfortable lobby area, meeting room and a warm cosy library, Villa Amor ignites a spirit of love in the soul of its visitors. Each room has a stunning view of the lush green surrounding that overlooks a breathtaking infinity pool.

Villa Sonha, Sonha which means dream in Portuguese, is regarded as a visitor’s dream come true. This palatial villa entails 7 well appointed rooms, a reception, lobby area and library stocked with a vast collection of journals and books. Villa Sonha also houses a restaurant open to in-house guests and an infinity pool overlooking the forest. The restaurant serves a selection of Indo Portuguese cuisine as well as authentic Goan delicacies made from the freshest of ingredients and farm produce.

The walls of the two villas are embellished with a collection of soul searching contemporary art, sourced from some of Goa’s finest artists. Regarded as an art collector’s treasure, the art is a depiction of Goan life in all its facets.

The villas exude an inherent sense of security and warm comfort that one typically associates with a home and is definitely a great place to mark your map for.
