Highly Anticipated Goa Carnival To Take Place This Month

Viva Carnival! The roads of Goa will come alive for four days with vibrant colours, music, costumes, floats, and fun as the Goa Carnival 2021 is going to take place this month itself. It’ll start on February 13th and go on till the 16th. This was decided just yesterday by the tourism department and government officials. The carnival will take place on last year’s Miramar to Dona Paula route.

On February 13th the parade will take place in Panaji and the following day in Margao. The Samba Square will be there on all the days. Nilesh Shah, President TTAG, stressed that the government should warn the public to follow protocols during the carnival in the midst of the pandemic. He stated: “We seem to have escaped lightly with no surge being reported after the New Year celebrations. The carnival attracts huge crowds and it would make sense to follow the protocols to avoid disaster in the future.”
