Hot-mixing of all Goa roads to be done by December 30, says PWD Minister

The hot-mix carpeting of all roads in Goa will be completed by December 30, according to Deepak Pauskar, PWD Minister.

He said that those contractors who have been given work orders will fill the potholes. New contractors will be selected for wherever no works are sanctioned. He added that potholes will be filled by November 1.

The minister said that whatever potholes were fixed got washed away with the heavy rain.

The Loutolim-Verna bypass will be inaugurated on December 16. The road will be widened and traffic signals will be installed. One lane of the new Zuari bridge will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 19.

Pauskar added that the national highway stretch from Patradevi to Verna will also be completed by December.
