Leopard Valley, Goa

A new nightclub sensation has arrived in south Goa! Billed as the ‘ultimate party destination for Palolem, Agonda, and Patnem’ Leopard Valley has launched itself onto the south Goa music scene in spectacular style. Leopard Valley with its dazzling big production sets and famous international DJ’s, attracts a fun crowd of dance music lovers from all around the world at this unique outdoor venue.

Driving through the gates and heading deep into the Agonda forest, there is a tangible sense of excitement at what’s to come. With the site having been transformed from a disused quarry, nothing at all can be seen or heard from the forest path … which only adds to the intrigue. Check in at the entrance, descend a gentle slope and right before your eyes is suddenly Goa’s hottest new nightclub – an amazing spectacle of hi-tech laser shows, colourfully illuminated palm trees and towering columns of fire.

Every Friday, hundreds of revelers dance the night away here to the rhythm of Goa’s finest electronic beats. Right in the heart of the jungle. The newly constructed mega-stage takes pride of place at Leopard Valley this season, towering an impressive ten metres high above the dance floor. DJ’s whip the crowd into frenzy from a booth elevated above a tumbling waterfall and flanked by giant, ornate Indian pillars. It looks just like a temple dedicated to the talented artists who rock Leopard Valley every week – and to those who seriously know how to party. Resident DJ’s include International House Music sensation Eve Carey (Ministry of Sound, Pacha), veteran DJ/VJ producer Dan Booth (Supersonic, Sunburn) and Goa’s very own homegrown talent, M V Cliff. Stunning performance duo Golden Gravity are resident here too, weaving fluorescent threads of light around the DJ decks, before getting down amongst the crowd to display impressive fire dancing skills.

The club is open every Friday from eight till late, and has wowed audiences since it burst onto the club scene. Pulling out all the stops for special holidays such as Holi, Diwali and Christmas, Leopard Valley naturally provided South Goa residents and holiday makers with a rocking start to the New Year too. The visionaries behind the project are owners Dr Ragu and wife Tina, and the UK production team Subnation Stageworks. Consisting of Production Manager Clint Hale, and ‘Promotional Guru’ Pete Smith, their extensive experience has put Leopard Valley on the map as the place to party every Friday night.

And we can expect still more to come from this amazing venue in 2014 … dining al fresco in the new restaurant, relaxing in the ‘Leopard Lounge’ and of course that all essential VIP area. It’s pretty hard to beat the excitement of partying in the jungle – but if you look closely enough, you might just spot the flick of a sexy leopard print tail dancing among the happy crowd …
