Limit Put On Rent-A-Car Permits To Reduce Traffic

Being stuck in traffic jams can definitely be frustrating especially when you have to travel far or you are impatient to explore new places. The transport department has been conducting a study for one month which may be a solution for the traffic issue.

The study was about how practical it will be to put a limit on how many permits are given to people who desire to operate new taxis for tourists, rent-a-car, and rent-a-bike. This may bring about new rules and regulations for new permit issuance. The benefits of this will include regulation of drivers’ working hours, better road safety, and decongestion of roads. As the study is still ongoing, the transport department has temporarily stopped issuing new permits to tourist taxis. By the first week of March the study is likely to be completed.
