The residents of Colva in South Goa have a secret they’ve been keeping for the past eight years. And now the cat is out of the bag! They’ve literally ruled the roost on the main road for many years and now the restaurant has taken on the avatar of a shack on the beach. Mickey’s overlooks the azure Arabian Sea and has many different levels from which you can enjoy the sunset. Apart from being a very pretty place, it has also built its reputation on serving up some of the most delicious Goan and Chinese dishes. And they sure know how to fire up the wok as well as the Vindaloo! Typically Goan, they tend to take their time over preparations, so be prepared for inordinate delays which maybe, up to a point, does get justified in the final servings. However, the general lethargy that prevails spills over to their service over getting a drink as simple as a beer, because somebody in the service chain simply forgot about it. The menu gives you ample choice in both types of cuisine and offers up some continental fare too. However, we recommend that you stick to their core competence and that is definitely the Goan cuisine.
