Tuesdays are Quiz and Bingo nights here and judging by the large turnouts, they’re a popular night to be out. Run by Malcolm and his wife, Nalini, the bar is a no-frills establishment. The family-run place offers great draught beer and some fabulous home-made Bailey’s and toffee Vodka, apart from a regular selection of spirits. Food is simple and you can choose between toasties and burgers. The quiz is great fun and can get pretty competitive, drawing the crowd into an atmosphere of fun and games. The place buzzes with conviviality and camaraderie so do drop by for a game of Bingo or test your knowledge of trivia. You pay a small fee to participate but the prize monies are generous so enjoy your drink and test your luck.
