In Goa, there will be restrictions till January 26th because of the rising Covid cases. Chief minister, Pramod Sawant, announced that a maximum of 100 people will be allowed outdoors at public gatherings, and a maximum of 50 people will be allowed indoors (or 50% capacity).
There is no night curfew in Goa. The Chief Minister said that police will make sure that there are not more than 100 people at beaches or markets at any time of the day or night. Even political parties can’t hold meetings with more than 100 people.
Passengers coming from outside India have to do an RT-PCR test at the airport and also spend 10 days isolated. On the fifth day, they’ll have to do another RT-PCR test.
For Classes I to XII, schools have been closed. Goa University has decided to hold the final year exams offline.
