Jason Santos recounts a first-hand experience of another brilliant carnival season.
THE city decked in colour, a festive vibe grips the state; decorations, lights and a general party atmosphere takes over. Carnival 2019 was brought in with much hype and anticipation, and lived up to every bit of it. With the entire state going into a full throttle party mode, every city and village dressed up and came out for the carnival parade. King Momo set the merrymaking on its way with the inaugurationnat the Panjim Carnival Parade. In the capital celebrations were accompanied by the Grape Escapade and the Samba Square, other cities had street parties and music gigs. The carnival parades across the state showcased stellar costumes and floats, with music and dance.
What follows is a walk- through of the experiences and emotions that are captured by students of The One School, Goa.
