Outer space phenomenon to take place in Goa tomorrow!!

An exceptional outer space phenomenon will be able to be seen right here in Goa! FIVE planets will align along with the moon which can be viewed in the southeastern sky. It will take place on April 21 from 4:30 am to 5:30 am.

At 4:30 am, you should look eastwards or where the sun rises where you are located. The phenomenon can be easily observed rising from the east to the south till 5:45 am approximately.

The lowest planet will be Jupiter. Venus will be above it brilliantly shining in white. Then comes the fiery red Mars topped with Saturn which has a yellowish hue. These planets will have the moon as a ‘crown’. Neptune will be between Jupiter and Venus, but to see this planet you need a powerful telescope.

The next big celestial happening will take place on April 27th (4:30 am to 5:30 am). It will be able to be seen by anyone. Venus, the moon, and Jupiter will look like a triangle.

On both these days, the public astronomical observatory at Panaji will be open to the public from 4:30 am to 5:30 am.
