Panaji city to Bondla wildlife sanctuary to get a new internal tourism circuit

From Goa’s Panaji city to Bondla wildlife sanctuary, a new internal tourism circuit will be developed!

A tourist Circuit is defined as “a route having at least three major tourist destinations which are distinct and apart. Circuits should have well-defined entry and exit points” according to the Union government’s Swadesh Darshan Scheme.

The new tourism circuit will go through Mayem lake and Arvalem. The circuit will have better roads, beautiful things along the roads, and projects to make the place more pleasing to the eye, etc. A tender will be floated soon for bidders to take up these projects.

There are plans to restore the Sakhali fort to hold small open-air functions and a tender for this will soon be floated. The Rudreshwar temple at Arvalem will be beautified. There are different projects in the pipeline to develop Sakhali to attract tourists.
