The Panjim Gymkhana Members League (PGML) is set to make a return for a second season. The much-anticipated cricket league is scheduled to kick-off in the second week of January 2023.

The league witnessed a total of 109 registration of players last season out of which 15 individuals were auctioned by five franchise team owners each. Prescon Panthers bagged the PGML 1.0 title.

PGML, a T-20 cricket tournament held in the state for the first time in 2022, saw the support of the public as it provided an opportunity for them to demonstrate their cricketing prowess. The PGML 2.0 is set to commence from the second week of January 2023 and will be played over the weekends till the second week of February 2023.

The player registrations for the tournament has begun and the last date for receiving entries is 12th October 2022. Interested players can access the forms from the website or collect it from the club office.

Panjim Gymkhana, founded in the pre-liberation era, is acknowledged as one of the oldest and most illustrious sports clubs in Panaji. It’s uncommon to discover a sports club that offers a well-kept cricket field for aspiring cricketers while being close to a river. The committee has made every effort to give cricket the greatest facilities and infrastructure possible. The Panjim Gymkhana seeks to offer a variety of enjoyable sports and leisure activities. Further, the club also offers indoor and outdoor facilities such as Table Tennis, Badminton court, Basketball, Tennis court and a lot more.
