Bountiful cashew crop expected in Goa this year

Hey Cashew lovers! This year, the cashew crop of Goa is expected to be bountiful according to the directorate of agriculture.

The reason for having such a positive outlook is because all the cashew plantations have abundant flowering. Even though January had unseasonal rains, the crop didn’t get damaged much.

Usually, cashews are collected in February. But this year the harvesting process was postponed due to delayed fruiting. This will also lead to delays in the making of Feni and Urrak. Local farmers have a good source of income through these drinks.
