Most romantic dinner settings

Don’t you think Goa and Romance are synonymous? Well, you must be wondering that romancing in Goa is way too  clichéd but trust me on the fact that Goa has some of the most wondrous dining settings on offer that are bound to dazzle your love life. Among all the solitary quixotic havens in Goa that you might have been to or read about are some exclusive restaurants which strive to fire up the romance and are ideal for idealistic dinner dates. Following are five of such dining places that’ll make your sweetheart melt.

1. A Reverie
Nestled in the bustling beach belt of Calangute is a rather fancy and hushed-up joint called A Reverie. Carrying an air of contemporary tropical chic in its ambience, this dinner only fine dining restaurant is perfect to impress your sweetheart or to pop the big question. Serving best of continental cuisine, their private gazebos allow you to plan your orders way more intimately than just dining, calling for a magical evening with your lover. Be it your anniversary or the time when you finally manned up to propose, this restaurant should definitely make it to your bucket list.

2. Go with the flow
Just as I thought of putting together romantic restaurants in Goa, the first place that popped up in my head was Go with the Flow. Located at the end of the Baga river road close to Baga Beach, this quintessential restaurant will not astound you with its fascinatingly romantic settings. Offering unique continental dining experience at several different levels, the dimly lit ambiance makes for a delightful love-filled evening. It is equipped with a unique sky-diving platform allowing you to indulge in an unusual date high in air with a spectacular view of the Baga Beach. However, if you want to stick to the ground, its sprawling yet whimsical garden dining area will definitely make your sweetheart fall in love with you all over again.

3. The Riverside
Considering that Goa is blessed with myriad mystical rivers, the idea of a riverside restaurant may sound a bit too mainstream but if you ever visit The Riverside restaurant by the Leela in Cavelossim, your perception about riverside dinner settings might change forever. Located on the banks of river Sal right before it meets the Arabian Sea, this authentic Italian dinner-only restaurant will mesmerize you and your sweetheart beyond belief. With flickering candles, gushing sound of the water, reflection of colourful fishing boats perching on the river, and lip smacking Italian gourmet offerings; Riverside fits the bill when it comes to romantic dinner treats.

4. La Plage
Beyond the commercial and crowded beach belts of Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, and Morjim is a rather less-frequented and Exclusive area with relatively cleaner beaches. One of those serene beaches is Aswhem Beach which houses a lot of exotic first line (bang at the beach) properties. La Plage, a French and seafood specialty restaurant located on the white sands of Ashwem Beach will enthrall you beyond expectation. With candles on every table, mesmerizing sea breeze, scintillating sunset view, refreshing cocktails, and succulent food will definitely astound your sweetheart and pump up the romance.

5. Simply Grills, Panjim
There’s nothing better than dining amid flickering candle light with waves crashing next to you one side and an  illuminated pool on the other. Club the above experience with some out-of-the-ordinary grilled delights along with a five star level service and there you have it: a perfect lavish yet quirky date setting. At Simply Grills, Goa Marriott Resort and Spa, you can experience just that. Be it for sundowners or a full-fledged meal with your lover, both of you will remember those moments forever.
