amã Stays & Trails Villa Siolim, Goa – a new concept of homestays from The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has been recognised as ‘Villa of the Year’ by MakeMyTrip at the recently held India’s Favourite Homestays Awards (IFHA) at Taj Resort & Convention Centre in Dona Paula. The IFHA is a people choice award to recognize and reward the growing community of homestay hosts in the domestic travel market.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vincent Ramos, Senior Vice President – Goa for IHCL said, “We are humbled and honoured to receive this prestigious recognition. Built-in the 1940s, Villa Siolim is located in North Goa, in the pristine village of Siolim. To be held annually, the IFHA is India’s first traveller choice award exclusively conceptualized for homestay properties and hosts by MakeMyTrip, a pioneer in India’s online travel industry. The awardee is chosen through a combination of jury assessment and consumer votes.
