The Atal Setu bridge of Panjim is temporarily closed

The Atal Setu Bridge will be closed till March 27. This is because heavy machinery has to be moved and resurfacing work has to be completed. The closure will ensure that commuters are safe and don’t get disturbed by the machinery.

The contractors have been requested to complete everything by March 26 so that things are ready for the assembly session. Other arrangements have been made for travellers. They are advised to take the surrounding routes and listen to the traffic police’s instructions.

Inconveniencies should be anticipated by the public. However, the bridge closure is necessary to ensure its smooth functioning.
