Set in Asagao, Goa under the great expanse of a majestic tree is the unique Asian kitchen, The Banyan, thus so aptly named. This well designed restaurant by Christopher Gonsalves, offers a wonderful amalgamation of Indonesian, & Thai with a hint of Goan. Other Asian cuisines such as Korean, & Japanese are also on the menu here with the Dim Sums and Bao menu a must try. Owner Tejpal Singh Gandhi, a third generation restaurateur has fond memories and a special attachment with the state and is happy to have started The Banyan in the state. Location: 345/1, Munag Vado, Assagao, Goa
