The waterfalls in Goa will be given new facilities! Soon, there will be bio-toilets, guides, and even lifeguards for safety! Let’s get into the details- the bio-toilets will be present every 500 metres, entrance gate registration counters, and guides to help groups.
Did you know that Sattari taluka has around ten waterfalls? The Goa forest department will play a major role in protecting the state’s marvellous waterfalls and for creating a beautiful experience for visitors. People love visiting the Harvalem and Dudhsagar Falls which are beautiful all year round. However, the state has other waterfalls that are in their full glory during the monsoon season. Some tourists even cross the border to go to Karnataka and Maharashtra and have a peaceful bath there.
Lifeguards who will be stationed will not only prevent people from drowning but will also keep an eye out for disruptive behaviour from visitors like drinking, being noisy, littering, etc. People have even drowned because of chaotic behaviour. Guides and other staff will also be responsible for controlling these people.
